[SOLVED] Will my R5 2600x bottleneck with a new RTX 3080?

Just asking as with my current rx5700xt on many graphics benchmarks in games I get freezes. Especially in the tomb raider benchmark when you first see the village. I think this could be the cpu trying to put in the frames in time for the GPU? would the 3080 solve this? I run games in 2k so GPU should be brought into focus instead of CPU. Or would the 3080 just create a bigger bottleneck and the freezes more frequent?

We don't have a lot of data yet. Hardware Canucks did release a video with Ryzen benchmarks from 1700 to 3950X. Just fit your CPU somewhere in the middle and you should get your estimated fps.
