Will my R9 290x Lightning edition graphics card work on a GA-78LMT-USB3?

I currently have both of the products however, when I finished building the PC, the card wasn't showing as the chipset. So immediately I thought the motherboard does not support this graphics card. If thats the case, could you recommend me a good recent motherboard I should look at, it would need to be for a micro atx and am3+. Need desperate help.

What PSU are you using to power the system?

Does the GPU turn on when you boot the PC?

Have you installed all required drivers (motherboard, chipset, gpu etc)?
