Will my ram downclock?

So i have 2x4GB Kingston HyperX Fury Red 1600MHz DDR3, and i wanna get a 775 MoBo alongside a Xeon e5460 for some gaming here and there. So if i get for example the MoBo "Asus P5K3 Deluxe" Which has a ram freqency max available 1333MHz, will my ram just downclock on that board to work? If not, could i manually downgrade the ram to get it work? If not that either, is the only option to buy new ones?
