Will my ram fit this motherboard?

Hey all,

Since I think my cpu is broken, I'm thinking of upgrading my system.
I want to save some money by not replacing my ram so I was thinking of buying this mainboard and cpu:

Asus P8Z68-v pro gen3
I7 2600k

However, the QVLsays it only takes this ram from ocz:
OCZ3G1333LV4GK (gold)

But I have:
OCZ3P1333LV4GK (platinum)

Will my old ram work with this new motherboard or do I buy the more expensive deluxe version that does have my ram listed in the QVL.

Any help much appreciated.

You shouldn't have any trouble........I think the only difference is the timings.......

It should work, however both OCZ3G1333LV4GK (gold) and OCZ3P1333LV4GK (platinum) kits operate at 1.65v., while your integrated memory controller likes 1.5v. if I am not mistaken.
