Hey Guys

So I got the Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory and also the Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler. I was reading online after I ordered them just now that the Cooler is really big and that I probably need low profile RAM for it to fit. The RAM I got doesn't look very low profile? Does anyone have experience with this? I got the Fractal Design Define R5 Titanium Case.

Main reason I want to know is if you guys know it won't fit for sure I won't open the package because if I open the package I have to pay 15% restocking fee.

Solution
The case doesn't matter here. It's the motherboard, Ram and cooler combo.

Chances are, it won't fit if people are saying this from experience. You have 2 options:

1 - Send back the Ram and get low profile Ram instead.

2 - Take off the Ram heatsinks which are purely cosmetic anyway. (I don't recommend this as it voids the warranty)

It's probably the safest option at this point. You could chance it, but why risk the 15% of whatever your local currency is...
