[SOLVED] Will my ram work with my cpu and motherboard?

i want to buy a i7 2600k and MSI H61M-P31/W8 motherboard and i already have 2x4 ram 665mhz and I'm not sure if the ram will work with the cpu and motherboard. Yeah so any help would be deeply appreciated.

Is this ram DDR2? If so, you will need DDR3 ram.
