Will my ram work with my mobo???

hello everyone! i recently bought a 98p67 asus motherboard that says it supports duel channel memory up to 32gb, but when i bought the ram it said that it was a quad channel (4x4gb) my question is can i put the "quad channel ram in my motherboard with duel channel without it breaking anything? if you guys have any other great suggestions let me know! thanks is advance!

i honestly wouldnt really worry about qual or duel channel.
as long as you have 4 ram slots on your mobo, you should be fine with plugging in all 4 ram into it.
ive honestly never heard of "quad channel"-ing ram... but the 4 ram should just run in 2 duel channels, if anything.
shounldnt really be anything to worry about.
