Will my ram work with my motherboard?

Solution
Hello Kisco,

Yes the RAM will work but you'll only be able to run it at 1600mhz.

RAM is sold at the fastest speed it is meant to work at. the actual speed that memory works at is set by your motherboard and CPU.
So buying 1866mhz memory and running it at 1600mhz, that is no problem whatsoever.

i assume you have any strong reason to buy a 1866mhz instead of 1600mhz.

i myself run a 1600mhz ram on 1333mhz motherboard.....its working fine.
It will most likely work, but not at 1866MHz, it will be at 1600 max. And that is no problem at all.

And i say most likely because motherboard manufactures have a list in their manual with supported/testet ram, and i do not know if this one is on the list. That, however, does not mean that non-listed ram will not work.
