Will my rig run well with GTX 970?

I have recently purchased a EVGA GTX 970 and am waiting for it to be delievered, i am upgrading from a 7870 and i wanted to know if the rig will work well, here are my current specs:

AMD HD 7870
AMD FX-8350
8.00GB 1600 mhz ram
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
300GB hard drive
600W corsair PSU


will i run into any problems? i don't really mind about a small bottleneck or something like that, thanks

crystal ball is broken, sorry.. so I guess you need to get it in fire it up and see how it goes ?? it will work as you expect or it will not

There's no reason a 970 wouldn't work fine with that rig. You have enough power and processing power to support it.

and an overclocked 970 should just beat 7870 sli according to here

Well, he wasn't asking if his card would be defective, and he certainly wasn't asking for you to act like his question is stupid, which it isn't. He was asking if his system specs would work with a 970.

these card have issues with certain boards and chipsets hes only stupid if he did not research all this out before buying .thats all its not hard to see all that with them these foruns are full of threads on this ..

how do you know it going to 100% work ?? you don't

all you can do is buy , try , and hope it don't make you cry ... that's with any part for anybody don't think I never got my hopes up on something just to find I was let dome some by it ... that's life
