Hi, I was wondering if my motherboard will support this kingston hyper x beast ram which is clocked at 2400mhz and this mobo supports up to 1866mhz.
The thing is that this ram is quite cheap and good looking because all the 1866mhz are out of stock and I don't really want a 1600mhz ram, but If that is the best option well...

Solution
It will support it but you will not be able to make use of the 2400mhz. The mobo will use the ram as a 1866mhz ram.

Here is the text from asus's website.
4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 1866*/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)
* Hyper DIMM support is subject to the physical characteristics of individual CPUs.
** Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).
