Hello everybody,
So I have gotten my hands on some ECC Ram. This is the model number (M393B5173EHD-CF8), and i was curious to see if it would work in my current rig. Right now am using a asus rampage iii gene with an Intel Core i7 950q. After looking around on the internet I have seen different answers about ECC Ram's compatibility, Some say that it wont even run in the system and other say it will run but it will lose ECC. The only information about this ram says that it is 240 pins and that it runs at 1.5V. Any ideas ?
