I'm considering to upgrade my GTX 295 to a 680, it may very well be time. Before I do, I have a couple of questions regarding if my system will be a bottleneck. I have a good set-up, but some parts are a few years old.

i7 960 @ 3.20 GHz
12 gigs RAM DDR3
850 W PSU
MSI X58 Pro-E (MS-7522)

I imagine I'm good, but I'm most worried about my PSU and mobo...

Also, another question: My GTX 295 right now runs pretty hot (around 65 C when gaming...), and my system temps are a little higher than I would like, however not high enough to warrant installing new cooling solutions. Would upgrading to a 680 require some better cooling? I don't know how hot it runs in comparison to my 295...

Thanks all.

You should try to overclock that cpu and you will be fine,as for the PSU if it can power a gtx 295 it can power a gtx 680.

Well, I'd be a little worried about OC'ing, as this CPU is about 3 years old, so I may just do the 670. But would a 670 be that much of an improvement to warrant upgrading?
