So I was wondering if I order a Corsair 230t build a system in it than put the case in the box with the foam that it came and transport it myself carefully, will my components be ok? Should I be worried about any static electricity building up and zapping my components?

Solution
I would say the most problematic would be the CPU cooler, GPU, and HDDs.
If your CPU cooler is big and heavy, you need to make sure you have some strong backplate that will not allow anything to bend or break.
The GPU - the same. If it`s big and heavy it might be affected, so here it would help if you have a backplate on it.
The HDDs might get damaged if the trip is bumpy.

All in all, if you are very carefull with it, and the unit will not receive any shocks, it should be ok.
Also, if possible, carry it on a side, the way that your mobo is placed, and not standing.
if the components are indide and the case is closed no problem.
static electricity builds up usualy when you take the case out of the box.
because the components are grounded to the case hey have the same potential so they will be no zapping storm in the case.even if you touch the case ad it zapps there is no problem.
