Friend gave me his ram because he got new ram said I could use it or sell it if I cant use it. For some reason I cant upload photos so Ill just explain the ram.
Its white and on the front it says Ballistix and Sport is on the left side of it. On the back there is a few things. The speed is 2666Mhz and its 16gb, 2 sticks. BLS8G4D26BFSCK.8FD / LEAD - FREE w/XMP
I just want to know if this ram would work in my computer, my current ram is 16gb ddr4 1067Mhz, This newer ram is faster then my current, that is my reason for wanting this new ram.
My specs
GPU - RTX 2070 Super
CPU - Ryzen 5 2600
RAM - 16GB DDR4 1067Mhz
Motherboard - B450M Bazooka V2
PSU - Corsair CX Series 550 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Non- Modular
If you need to know anything let me know.
My main questions was really if it would be useable for my pc and if it is worth it.
I looked up my MB and it says this speed is used but I wasn't sure so I wanted to ask on here to double check.
