My main worry is ...the components will not fir into the case ... will it overheat?

Please also suggest alternatives if possible (cheaper but same performance etc). Thanks!

I'd do some more research on the card. I think it will fit but I can't guarantee it.

I'd ditch that drive and go with this that has 250GB more space and an additional 16GB more cache than that drive. Hitachi/HGST drives are known to be highly reliable as well.

The rest looks pretty much ok for an itx build. There are better case choices, but there always are if you're willing to pay more so if that one works for you, then it's fine. Everything else should probably fit ok. I'm fairly sure the GPU will as well since the case indicates it supports full height cards.

Great advice. Beat me to the punch as I was typing, haha :)

I didn't encounter miniITX cases a lot, so cannot say about overheating issues. But I think additional case fans would solve these issues, or other solutions may be possible.

What I don't like in this - is PSU which is pre-installed. It usually doesn't contain best quality PSU's, and I don't see any details on it, only W amount and that is bronze. And also - don't know if miniITX towers have separate PSU's to buy, or it is some kind of "special" PSUs.

One more - would suggest SSD over HDD - for space saving, heating and speed. Best case - 128/256 SSD and HDD of choice. If low on budget (or it doenst fit in miniITX), still I would consider leaving only SSD.

And last one - just wondering - why miniITX? Why not "normal" case with free space for upgrade, cooling, etc.?

Hi

Thank you all for the replies

I have pretty limited space, that's why I would go for ITX

The graphic I listed is a "mini" shrunk down 970 by asus

Also, I tihnk I would go for SSD acr100 240gb instead

Anyone has a good suggestion for the alternative case and power unit?

Again, thank you all,

I would also suggest an SSD normally, but since this is primarily for gaming, and SSD speed doesn't offer much benefit to gaming performance, the higher capacity of the HDD would seem to be the better option. An SSD WITH a HDD would of course be even better, but given the choice between the two on a gaming only system I'd take the extra storage capacity over shaving a few seconds of the boot time and speeding up map loading.
