Question Will my Vengeance RGB Pro work on Ryzen 5 1600 (ab350 gaming 3 motherborad) on 3200 mhz?

Hi, so I have bought a Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8 3200mhz (model: CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 timings 16:18:18:36) so will it work on that 3200MHz or will it work at all with my Ryzen 5 1600 on a Gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 motherboard?

PS: haven't bought the motherboard yet so if there are any better suggestions please recommend me one ?

It's most likely the ram will top out at 2933 on the B350 mobo, providing it runs with no issues. You may not get 3200mhz. I'd suggest a B450 based mobo for better compatibility, and the chance of running the ram at it's rated speed. MSI B450 Tomahawk is highly regarded.

tnx ill look into the MSI B450 Tomahawk mobo, they are nearly the same price range anyways, so why not get a better one

Offically supported speed is 2666MHz. It may be possible to go higher, but not unusual to top out at 2666MHz with that setup.

I would go with a B450 board, like the Asrock B450m Pro4, for a budget friendly option. I know that board can do 3200 speeds.
