Question Will my X470 motherboard support a WD Black in the second M.2 Socket?

I have an Aorus X470 Ultra gaming, rev 01 on firmware version F6A, with a Ryzen 7 chip.

I'm looking at buying this M/2 drive:

WD BLACK SN770 2TB SSD M.2 2280 NVME PCI-E GEN4 SOLID STATE DRIVE

Socket Socket A (The one nearest the CPU) is already occupied with my boot drive, and I want to put this into socket B (The one furthest from the CPU) as a data drive.

I've heard that some people have been having compatibility problems when putting M.2 into that slot on this board, but there have been varied answers that contradict each other about how they fixed it.

IS there likely to be a problem if I go ahead?

(the second slot)
"1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 PCIe 2.0 x4/x2 SSD support) (M2B_SOCKET)"

It will probably work.
However, it is only a PCIe 2.0 port.
Putting a PCIe 4.0 is a waste of money.
