i ask because i was getting ready for my job and i was near my desktop with my job name tag that uses neodymium my computer was off when this happened the magnets didnt get on the computer but it was near the computer should my components be okay?

so neodymium magnets can ony damage the hdd thats it?

and where is a good place to safely store the neodymium magnet?

Well, no.
A strong magnet next to any chip may affect it. The BIOS chip, for instance.
But it would have to be right on top of it.

Where to store? Away from the PC.

i know but my place is small its a studio apartment

By "away"....12 inches would work.

You'll be fine.
Or...you could put it in the kitchen. Or on your bed. Or hanging on your shirt in the closet.

yes i do have a bathroom sink but its like close to my computer

also i was just in the bios on my computer to check and see if its damages well the bios has like a 1 second lag when in advanced mode sometimes when going into each tab but thats it everything else seems to be functioning properly
