Will new graphics card will stop lag??

How do I stop Fortnite lag?
I currently have
2 tb hardrive
8 GB of ram.
Cpu AMD A10-8700P
Graphics card ATI AMD Radeon R9 360
Right now I’m only pulling 40 FPS and then when I get into a gun fight it drops to like 15-20
I’m about to buy a gtx 760 graphics card will that stop the choppy ness of the game?

A GPU upgrade (probably not a 760, though) *might* bring a bit more performance; unforunately, the A10 is quite weak in the CPU performance department as well.

Easy test- run the game at 1080p low settings, assuming 1080p is your usual resolution. Check the framerate. Now run it again, in more or less the same map and situations, but this time at 720p. Did the framerate go up? If yes, especially if it went up a lot, you can get good use out of a better card.

If your framerate did not go up much, if at all, then this means your APU is holding you back. This also means the new card won't help much.
