Will oem memory work with mainstream motherboard

Hi, I'm building a pc for the first time on a really small budget. 8gb of memory is kind of expensive new, but second hand it looks like it's oem. Here are links to the two parts:

There are no part numbers or whatever else that could help us to identify who made that memory, or its exact properties, so there's no way to tell if it will work or not.

It says dell on it, but that's the only thing

Yeah unfortunately we can't advise you without knowing the specific model number of that memory. If it's not on the approved memory list of that ASUS motherboard, then it may not work. And Ryzen is much less tolerant on memory variation out of approved memory than Intel motherboards (approved meaning that the motherboard was tested by ASUS to work with every memory that is on their QVL list).

If I were you and that tight on money, I'd save up for better memory, specifically a type that is on the QVL (qualified vendor's list). Here is a .PDF link to download it:
