Will official Nvidia drivers work with my GTX 1070?

I have a Sager laptop with a GTX 1070. I went to the Nvidia drivers page and autodetected my hardware. This is what it said:


"GeForce GTX 1070

This product has been detected as your primary device

Your product manufacturer requires you to download a driver for your device from their website"


Does this mean I can't download the drivers from Nvidia itself or from GeForce Experience? I went to the Sager page for my model, and the only Nvidia driver it has is an Nvidia VGA driver from almost two months ago.

ALWAYS use the drivers from NVIDIA
