Will older p/s work with Haswell i5 and/or FX6300?

I have a p/s from my last system that I would like to reuse, if possible, on a new build. I've been out of the PC scene for several years and my old rig is in storage. I don't know the model, but it was used with an 8800 GTX, Core2 and SATA drives. Are there any new connectors or power requirements that would make it unusable?

No just the ability for the core to go into low power idle and be woken up. Old psus would take that as a failure and turn off.
