No they are different gens and are not compatible, you will also need new ram, if you wanted to get the pentium (or any new cpu)

Also....being it's an HP prebuilt....it can be hard to find the needed info on the MB like WHAT will it actually support and what BIOS versions go with which processors.

Those CPUs use different sockets, (LGA1151 and LGA 1150).

No its a completely different socket.

The ONLY CPU upgrade you can get for that system is the i5-4570T.

Thats the only better processor that it was available with, and you are limited by the hardware and BIOS to what HP sold it with.
