well few weeks ago i got gtx 770 and i have a good system now but i can't get 40 fps in any game and i'm really pissed off i wonder if someone could help me.

Specs:
CPU: Phenom II X6 1090T
GPU: GTX 770 4gb gainward
RAM: 8GB 1866MHz
SSD: 120 GB evo
HDD: 2x260GB 1x 2TB
Mobo: asus M5A99FX pro
power supply: cx600m crosair

Solution

The FX-8350...
Yes, it will bottleneck.

My brother has a GTX 560, and until a couple days ago he used a Phenom II 1090T. After switching to an ASrock H97 Pro4 and an i5-4590, keeping the same GTX 560, his framerate doubled in many games.

The GTX 770 is much stronger than the GTX 560 obviously, so it will be even more heavily bottlenecked by a 1090T.

Furthermore, the 1090T is almost identical in performance to an FX-6300, which is why I don't ever recommend AMD CPUs. AMD CPUs look good on paper, but functionally break down in games, for anyone who's used both enough to know the difference.

so what i should do i don't have enough money for new mobo and cpu and my mobo still new it's just 2 months old :(

The FX-8350 isn't that much stronger than the CPU you already have in most games. It'd help though. Might be enough to push you over 60 fps.

First, I'd recommend you pick up a decent CPU cooler for like $30 and try overclocking the 1090T. Once overclocked, it may perform well enough. My advice would be to choose a CPU cooler that's compatible with both the AM3+ and LGA 1150 sockets, so if you need to switch it over to an Intel CPU later you won't have to toss it out.

Solution

just overclock the CPU if you can, but keep your GPU. Look into changing your settings in game to be lower and prefer frames over looks. for me medium looks just as good as high and ultra in most games..

It really should beat it most of the time if he can get it up to 4Ghz. The Thuban architecture of the 1090T was stronger (albeit less efficient and less receptive to overclocking) than Piledriver.

OC wont do you any good. The x6 series are actually quite weak. I have been searching and searching. In the end I decided to replace my old x6 1055t OC to 3.5 for an i7 3790k. Its still in the mail but from what i see all over the internet is its 3 times faster in ALL games and everything else.
Look I hate to be anti AMD but their CPU's are priced high for their actual worth.

OC'ing always helps as long as heat is managed well. But it's not going to be enough to catch up to Intel. And I suspect that i7 is more than 3 times faster in some games.
My brother just replaced his Phenom II X6 1090T with an i5-4590, and performance literally doubled in many games. The only reason it didn't more than double is because his video card became the bottleneck.

Everyone goes on about AMD having a great price/performance ratio, but I don't see it. All the in-game benchmarks I've looked at show Intel having a better price/performance ratio for gaming.

At the $80 point, you have the Pentium G3258 running faster, cheaper, and cooler than the Athlon 760K.
At the $120 point, you have the i3-4150 outperforming the FX-6300 in practically all games.
At the $160 point, you have the i3-4360 roughly matching the FX-8350 in most multithreaded games, beating it in games meant for 4 threads or less.
At the $220 point, you have the i5-4690 or i5-4690K stomping on the FX-9370 in all games.
At the $300 point, the i7-4770 or i7-4790 once again beats the FX-9590 in speed, power, and heat.

Plus, you know, with my build I'm actually using so little power that just from my energy bill savings compared to AMD I could buy a new CPU every year, at no real cost.
