[SOLVED] will power outage damage gpu ?

I was playing devil may cry 4 special edition; When I tried to change texture quality settings from Med to High, the Power went out at the same moment I pressed enter to make the change.
Any possible damage ?

Anything is possible, but I would start the PC up and if everything is operating as normal, I would not worry.

No it wont damage your gpu. There is no difference in shutting down pc or unplugging from the wall etc. Only problem you can have with some errors on hdd/sdd and maybe problem with OS but I never experienced that either in my 20 years of owning PCs. And power outages here are pretty common.

Possible... but highly unlikely.
Certainly not enough to worry about.

If you have frequent power issues, you might buy a UPS.
It need not be expensive, and allow for perhaps 5 minutes of run time.
That will get you through power glitches and give you time to shut down gracefully if power is out for a while.
