Will PSU Cut it?

Hey, I have XFX TS 450W with i3 4160 and Gigabyte R9 270 OC graphics card.

My friend is getting GTX 970 for himself and we want to test it on my system.

Will my PSU be enought to run the GTX 970 without problems for atleast one hour?

Yes gtx 970 have almost same tdp as r9 270

Oh and also another thing I wanted to ask. I ordered XFX PRO450W which costed me 49€. On receipt that they sent me everything was OK, but on my PSU it says TS 450W. I know these are not the same and according to geizhals.de (I used this website to squeeze the cheapest price, the difference betwen them is 10€).

Should I contact my retailer and ask him to refund me or what would I have to do? I allready installed the PSU inside my system since I could not be bothered to send it back and wait for another.

You can ask for refund or replacement for wrong product delivery and you can also keep the product if you are comfortable with

Says 300W minimum and 350W recommended for my system with GTX 970. So I should be safe?

I wonder why NVIDIA say that 600W is minimum req for GTX 970!?

yes your psu is good enough for this rig, but it is good to have overkill PSu,

PSu is not too much overkill but slightly around 70-100w
and it is good for your pc even if you are not gonna upgrade it.
