I've seen a few comments here and there about two SSDs in raid 0 being extremely fast. Most of the info I'm picking up when I search Google says that raid 0 will slow down SSDs but it all seems to be horribly out of date.

Which is it, will raid 0 help or hurt performance? I'd be running two in raid 0 using sata3...

The slowing down you are finding is probably related to Trim not working on raid sets. This wouldn't be immediately noticeable, but over time you would lose performance on the drives. If the drives are used singularly Win 7 handles this cleanup for you.

SSD's in Raid 0 should be really quick.
