Will RCA Splitter work in pc?

On my PC I have a headphone jack and a microphone jack. I'm trying to plug my headset into both. At my work they have a Stereo "Y" adaptor cable. Instead of aux the cable has two RCA plugs. If I plug my headphones into the 3.5mm cable, which splits into two RCA connectors, will it work in the 2 audio plugs on my PC? Thanks
