Question Will re-using a corrupt/ageing HDD damage another system?

I have 2 HDDs that have show pretty clear indication that it has bad sectors, etc. On top of that, I actually have results from Clear Disk Info and Hard Disk Sentinel that these HDDs are dying.


Will using it as a portable hard drive, by using a 2,5 enclosure, damage another system if its used for that purpose?

I plan to use it just like a USB drive to transfer files between computers.

Will it "damage" a system? No.
But, how much do you want to trust it to move data?

Thanks for pointing that out.

I hope to use them to transfer files, but not to store files in them

I guess another concern is whether these files will remain 100 % during and after transfer. . . I don't want them to be corrupted during the process -- does anyone know if thats possible?
