I dont think so, when Skylake came out, haswell's price remained the same. The i5 4460 cost the same as the i5 6400 for example.

It may depend on your local pricing but generally no. Like hdgaming said, previous gen chips tend to remain at the same price. Once they're out of production (such as 2nd gen) the price can often go up due to limited supply. Rarely does price decrease, if it does it's by $5-10. Nothing significant.

in sweden the skylake chip price is rising xD they want u to buy the kabylake instead of the skylake thus raising the skylake prices close to the kabylake ones.
