[SOLVED] Will repaired motherboard damage other components

Hello Everyone!

So I recently purchased a motherboard and cpu, and while assembly one of the RGB cables in motherboard was slightly lose which caused a spark and smoke. Afterwards when I tried turning it on, the system won't turn on. But fans were working and my phone was charging through usb ports. I took it to a shop to check what's wrong and they said it can be repaired but RGB lights in the motherboard won't work.

I am curious if I repair it, is there any chance it can damage my other components like cpu or gpu in the future.

My motherboard is: Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4

Could you show a pic of the problem? I would assume If you repair it properly it wont damage anything. Unless you damage something else onnthe motherboard your pc should work.

Shop keeper just removed RGB drivers. It doesn't case any problem. You can use your PC

You can see here that the chip in the center has a tiny bump on it and that's what is broken. Link to the image is below:
