will ryzen 1600 work with amd 5450 ddr3 graphics card?

i am going to buy ryzen 1600 with MSI B350 GAMING PLUS AM4 AMD USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD MOTHERBOARD and 8gb ram
has ryzen cpu wont boot without gpu
can i use my old gpu amd 5450 2g ddr3
i am going to buy 1060 after 3 months but i want to use pc for normal work for the space of 3 months

gpu and cpu are using different memory
cpu is using the one on the motherboard which is ddr4
gpu is using whatever is inside the gpu, in this case ddr3, modern GTX gpus are actually ddr5
