it seems Ryzen 1700 has no iGPU, I saw over the internet. but the motherboards have HDMI and onboard graphics. I have chosen gigabyte AB350 gaming 3. it has written 2gb onboard graphics, with HDMI port. So will I be able to boot Ryzen 1700 system without an external GPU?

Solution
Those specs only apply if you have one of AMDs APUs that fit that socket, which you dont. As they aren't out yet. If you are going to be using a Ryzen 1700 then you need a GPU.

it has written in specs that,
Onboard Graphics :
Integrated Graphics Processor:
1 x DVI-D port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200@60 Hz
* The DVI-D port does not support D-Sub connection by adapter.
1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160@24 Hz
* Support for HDMI 1.4 version.
Maximum shared memory of 2 GB
