Will second monitor affect my fps?

I'm planning on picking up the second screen for my setup, I would only play on one of them, but will there be any fps drops or performance decrease?
-R9 270x 2GB
-i5 4440
-8GB Ram

If there is a decrease in fps, you probably won't notice it (I sure didn't when I got a secondary screen).

You will have to dedicate some GPU resources to run the second screen (even if it is just the windows desktop) will slow your card a bit but should not be noticable
