Will ShadowPlay reduce the lifespan of an SSD?

I recently heard that using a SSD to store the temporary files for Nvidia's ShadowPlay would drastically reduce the lifespan of it, but the article was back from 2013. Is this still true? And how would I change the location where the temporary files are stored to?

Makes little odds mate , may reduce the lifespan slightly as all read/write operation do but your PC will long be dead & buried before that happens

This answers your question about the lifespan. And you change the location of temporary files and save files like this. Make sure that Shadowplay is ON, because otherwise you won't be able to access/change those settings.

Yes. its true i just FIXED it , ty fckin Nvidia already wrote 13TB to my 2months old SSD-.-
