Will skylake cpu be compatible with z270 motherboards?

Hi guys!

Firstly thanks for every person who takes to time to read it and answer me. I have been looked a lot on internet but I haven`t found a solution yet.
I bought an i7 6700k into a black friday offer. I didn`t bought the motherboard because i wanted the maximus viii formula, but its not avaliable anywhere. So googling, I found that asus is at one step for starting delivering of new z270 motherboards. Dued that the socket is going to be the same.... (1151) do you know if new motherboards will support my i7 6700k?
