Will Steam refund me a game that I bought on steam but also used the CD key on origin?

Okay so basically I purchased Need For Speed: Hot Putsuit on Steam but as it's an EA title, I was able to use the CD key on origin as well. So,using Steam's Refund feature, If I refund the game on steam will I still be able to keep the game on origin? Or will they just not accept my refund?

If they refund it they will likely invalidate the key and it wont work on origin either. They can likely see that the key has been used elsewhere.

So basically, you want the game for free. Pretty sure that won't work.
