Will the 1050 be good for my PC?

PSU - 300
Ram 8
2 TB

psu is not high enough wattage. 320 minimum. the 8310 may hold it back a bit, but most likely not. i havent seen any testing with that combination.

Nvidia recommends a 300w power supply for the GTX 1050. Just get one without a six pin power connector. It's unlikely your power supply would have one given its modest output.
