Will the 2600k Bottleneck the 1080

Okay quick question, so I'm currently running a 2600k @ 4.5Ghz and really want to upgrade my GPU to a 1080. Do you guys think it will run fine or will I need to upgrade to Skylake or Zen in the future?

I think it would be either a slight bottleneck or it would be fine, but I HIGHLY recommend skylake or the upcoming kaby lake lineup.

haha, I meant to put Skylake not Sandybridge, but I will most likely be doing that in the future
