Will the Asus H97 Plus support Dx12?

Simple and short question, the motherboard has Direct X 11 Supported written across it in big bold letters.

My board Asus H97 Plus (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H97PLUS/)

I know my gpu (Strix GTX 970) supports dx12 ,right?

That shows the 970 will support dx12. The motherboard really has no bearing on whether or not dx12 will be supported, as far as i know any somewhat modern motherbaord will support dx12.
