will the asus maximus ix hero fit in a corsair 450d case

im planning on building pc and chose the asus maximus ix hero mobo. i already have the case but it seems the rear fan will interfere with the shield on the mobo

Yes it will fit.
It doesn't interfere with any of the components, it's just the picture that makes it look narrow then it seems.
