Will the CM Hyper 212 Evo fit in corsair case

Hey was wondering if the CM 212 evo would fit into corsair carbide series spec 01 case (not sure if any other components matter) ? I have the amd fx 8350 and would like to do light overclocking and I read reviews that this cpu cooler is really nice.

Yes it fits! I have a friend who owns the case and the Hyper 212 EVO - the fit is pretty close as the cooler comes about 1mm away from the side panel when you close it.

On the Newegg Q&A for your case, somebody asks the same question and a verified owner confirmed the CPU cooler would fit.
