WIll the core i3 2100 bottleneck the r9 285

i have a core i3 2100 cpu and i recently bought the sapphire r9 285 dual x gpu. i need to know that will my cpu bottleneck the card and if i need to upgrade then what should i buy?? i play games at 1600*900 res.

specs:
cpu-Core i3 2100 3.10ghz
motherboard- GIGABYTE GA-H61M-s1
ram-corasair vengeance 1300 mhz 6gb(4+2)
hdd-WD green 3 tb 7200rpm
gpu-Sapphire r9 285 dual x 2gb
psu-corsair cx 600
case- cooler master k380
monitor-LG flatron e2041

It should be fine, 285 is not type of card that get bottlenecked by i3.

i3 will defenitely bottleneck the 285 slightly

you need a decent i5

yeah i agree.. there is no way you could play next gen games in ultra on i3...

btw. graphics settings make no difference to CPU performance, only GPU performance (except for physics settings).

if you upgrade to a 4970k then the bottleneck you mentioned will sure be gone and you will get what a 285 has to offer
