ASUS ROG STRIX Z370 H
8700K Not going to overclock just yet
16GB Corsair White LED 3200Mhz Memory
Nvidia GTX Aorus Extreme Edition 1080ti
2 x M.2 960 evo 240gb drives
Standard Hyper 212 Coolermaster Cooler
Case: Cooler Master Q300P MasterBox
And probably 2 BeQuiet! 120mm Pure wing 2 fans.

Just want to know if that be enough or if i should go for the CORSAIR CX650 instead.

Cheers guys - and thanks for replys!

That tier list is pure garbage. Outdated and made by someone with little knowledge on PSUs. No one even knows what makes a PSU go in a certain tier list.

Please just refer to professional reviews, or testings. The CX650 is a DC-DC with LLC resonant. Testings can be found here: https://www.cybenetics.com/a/CUj/

The power supply is good, even for mid range builds (overclocked R5 1600 + GTX 1060 for example), though I can agree a better PSU would be suitable. Just don't use that tier list as a source for choosing power supplies, because you'll end up choosing an overpriced unit.

OP...
550w should be okay, but it’s borderline. Your main component draws close to 450w under maximum load, 300w for graphics card 95w 10w for 2 ssd 10w for 4 fans and about 30w for motherboard and such. 650w will be a lot better for the extra headroom. Usually in game you don’t stress the system as you would in benchmarks, so you should be fine.

OP, 550w is plenty even with overclocking.

I'd suggest this PSU for you build though, https://pcpartpicker.com/product/sMM323/evga-supernova-g3-550w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-220-g3-0550
