I had issues even going to the bios with my kingston hyper x fury 2666 4gb ram earlier (HX426C15FB/4) which I then realised it wasn't on the QVL. So I borrowed a corsair ram from my friend (CMK16GX4M2A2400C14) which worked. Now that I've to purchased my own sticks, I've 2 option Corsair vengeance 3000 c15 (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) which is on the QVL , however the white variant (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15W) wasn't on it. It should still work right ? Sorry if this is a stupid question..

Ps I got to test the kingston ram with his intel pc and it worked.

Specs: ryzen 7 1700x , Asus strix b350-f gaming, sapphire rx570 4gb , cooler master m2 silent pro 620w

Yes they should work fine thisisaac however they will most probably default to 2666MHz. There is a DOCP profile that you should set in Bios that will set the correct SPD timings and voltage for your kit.
It is advised to update your Bios and chipset if you haven't already done so.
