So I am in the process of building a Hackintosh and dual booting it with windows 10 or 8.1 for some gaming. The CS450m has already been shipped to me and I will be using a ssd for the OSX installation and a HDD for the Windows installation. I am worried that the CS450m might or might not hold up with the GTX 960. Even though the corsair psu picker recommends atleast a cx430 and I have a cs450m. please help me!!!

The Corsair CS is a Tier 3 rated power supply here on Toms.
The Corsair CX is a Tier 4 rated power supply here on Toms.

Nvidia does recommend a 400 watt power supply at a minimum with a GTX 960. I am concerned that with the CS power supply being a Tier 3 unit, that it may not last as long as a better unit would last.

We recommend buying only Tier 1 or 2 power supplies if at all possible.

I am going to list a pair of Seasonic 520 watt power supplies that have specials going on right now. These are very good power supplies. One is non-modular, and the other is fully modular.
