Will The Elder Scrolls VI re-use the creation engine? Or will it have a brand new state-of-the-art DX12 engine that was built from the ground up?
Bethesda already said that TES VI is in the works, but "it's a long way off" which I'm guessing is probably about another 4-5 years at least. By that time, several future generations of GPU's would have passed, and DX13 might exist.
The creation engine is just a modified/upgraded version of a very old engine called Gamebryo, and I think they've stretched that engine to it's limits in Fallout 4.
