Will the EVGA Geforce GTX 780ti (Nvidia Model) Be enough? - Please help

Hi.
I wanna upgrade my system and gaming gear. Im going to buy the 780ti but i was wondering if it could run with this monitor?
I got a Core I7 5820K too.

Why not get the gtx 970? Its based on newer architecture and has more vram than 780ti that will be beneficial to play at higher resolution. If Im not wrong, its also cheaper than gtx 780ti.

I agree, get the GTX970. I specifically recommend the EVGA ACX 2.0 1.17GHz model which is $350 (see pcpartpicker).

Similar performance, more memory, new features and runs much quieter; in fact the above card will even turn off the fans in light usage. Also a lot cheaper as well so it's idiotic to buy a GTX780Ti which is possibly $200 more expensive.

And YES it will run the monitor just fine.

However, your frame rate in a game totally depends on the game and your settings in the game. You can even use a lower resolution but I can't think of a game where you wouldn't want to use 2560x1080 with a GTX970.

I vote for the GTX 970 over the GTX 780 Ti also. Both good, but go with the new tech if it is at least as fast. Besides, the 970 will equal or out-perform the 780 Ti at a little over half the wattage.

Performance is basically IDENTICAL but again:
- cheaper
- quieter
- uses less power
- more VIDEO RAM (4GB vs 3GB)
- has new features (H.265, HDMI 4K 60FPS support, MFAA, Dynamic lighting Voxel support)

You'd need to charge $300 for the GTX780Ti to make sense...

**Note that this links is NOT for the card I recommended above. The one I recommend uses the ACX 2.0 fan setup which is quieter.

I'm going to be in the market for a GTX 970 myself. Do you have any idea which one has both a fast core clock and NO coil whine? I had my mind set on this one until I read of coil whine issues from users. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487077

Okay.. Thx alot but ive heard that the 970 is not the best card in some ways that it drops in fps?.. but anyway i was wondering if the 980 would do even better?

And Btw i think that cooler (acx) dosent looks very nice :/
