Will the EVGA GTX 750 ti work with a 144hz monitor?

Hello,
As you might notice by the title i'm kind of a noob but i'm hoping to get a 120/144 hz monitor soon and wondered if this gpu would function properly.

It will work fine but it will not achieve frame rates anywhere near to what is needed to take advantage of a 144hz. monitor.

I mostly play cs:go, I hit 300+ frames while playing the game.

Cs:Go, I see what you mean. All the 144hz. monitors I've seen have display port connection. Here's a few including 2 with G-sync support.
