Yes. The card with the bracket is 330mm, the S340 Elite case has a clearance of 334mm, even with a radiator. If you don't have a raditor you gain an extra 20mm

Because of the weight and size of the Galax HOF there is an included pole that supports the GPU from sagging so its going to be tight against the radiator. There is also another issue that people have been having with this case where the GPU's corner comes in contact with the cable management shroud and blocks the end of the GPU. Does this really happen to large enthusiast GPU's in the S340 line?

Why would there be a pool? That is the point of the bracket, and the screws? Your motherboard should also be strong enough to prevent a side. Do you plan on having a radiator, or air cooler? I would recommend air cooler for a cleaner cable management. I have the regular S340 and I can say that if I wanted to add a 1080, I could do it, even with my fans in the way. I would also mention that there is a hole in the bottom to allow cables to go up instead of on the side.

Im going with the Deepcool CAPTAIN 240EX which is 27mm wide, the fans are 25mm which makes it 52mm. The clearance of the case 334mm-52mm gives the GPU 282mm to work with but my card is 330mm so it cant fit. I can always trade in some performance and use a single 120mm radiator on the top or the back and leave space for the gpu by not having a front mounted 240mm rad.

That sounds good to me as well. I still prefer air coolers, but that is just me.

I have msi gaming x 1070 in s340 which is a bigger than average gpu and it doesnt have any problems with the cable management shroud
